A dedicated group of fishing enthusiasts determined to promote fishing
Great news! South Shore Fishing Association (SSFA) earned enough donations to receive a matching grant through the MEDC to update the Lower Harbor Fish Cleaning Station. Due to the generosity of members, sponsors, and donators, we raised $11,125. With the MEDC matching grant, SSFA fundraised $21,125 in total.
Upgrades will include a new grinder, lights, signage, sponsor sign, fish-cleaning table extensions with new sprayers, and trash disposal.
SSFA is overwhelmed by the positive support we received on this project. We look forward to working with the City of Marquette and fellow fishermen in 2023!
