Women's and Children's Fishing Tournament

Registration can be found below or on August 22, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Lower Harbor Cinder Pond Marina.
Weigh-in Approximately 2:00 p.m at the Presque Isle Bandshell

This big fish derby event was established to get women and children involved in the fishing community. The event aims to allow women and children to experience reeling in their own fish on the big lake. Outside assistance is allowed for setting lines, driving the boat, and netting fish, but only participants may reel in fish. Weigh-in immediately follows fishing, allowing everyone to show off their catch of the day. As with all our events, we are looking for volunteers to help make this event successful by offering their time or input.
