Kids Fishing Day

Kid’s Fishing Day is hosted annually at Lakenenland outside Marquette, on M-28. This is the second-largest event of the year for SSFA, and it continues to grow. In 2019, SSFA gave away 300 fishing rods to future anglers! Tom Lakenen is generous enough to host SSFA, allowing for a family fun day filled with fishing, exploring a sculpture park, and a picnic lunch prepared and donated by Elks Club Lodge #405 of Marquette. SSFA thanks the many community members and sponsors that make this event possible!
